If you are unsure about anything written here please consult someone born/raised or spent any time living in a tropical climate.
Ask how long they have been using coconut milk to make cornmeal porridge, run downs, and curries and other recipes.
The following response is guaranteed. Those living in tropical climates have been using coconut milk and cream for centuries, way before electricity was invented. Hair, skin and other beauty products feature coconut. Coconut cream is widely used as an anti-fungal cream. It is natural and oily and can be used as an effective lubricant. Dozen of conditions can be improved using coconuts in some way.
In the tropical places where coconuts come from the outer husk is also used to make brushes to polish floors, and make other handy tools such as spoons. It is a sustainable product as every part of the coconut has its own use.
