Thyme - 50g

Thyme has many uses but is best known for being a corner stone in tropical cooking. No Caribbean household's shopping list would be complete without this item.

Fresh thyme (storks and all) is used as an ingredient to enhance the flavour of your favourite meat, fish, vegetarian or vegan dish. When teamed with hot peppers (scotch bonnet), spring onion, ginger and a good quality garlic you have the base for great Caribbean cooking.

Just add authentic seasonings such as Portland Spices and Jamaica Valley high quality pre mixed seasonings. Both are monosodium glutamate (MSG) FREE, and make food taste tropical and delicious. In addition to its versatile use in cooking, thyme is said to have added benefits. If coping with chest and breathing issues use fresh thyme made into a tea using hot not boiling water.
